Am I wrong but in the NFL that would have been Hamilton ball on the 20 right? I am reminded of Don Beebe knocking the ball away from Leon Lett a few years back in the Superbowl and I believe that Buffalo took possesion.
Was staining the deck this weekend so only listened to the game till the end.
It sounded like the announcers had a bit Huge man crush on durant and would have run to the field to jump him, if it hadn't bee for lumsden show casing why he's the best in the league. Clearly they were conflicted and decided to just sit up in the booth and make sure to say their names every 3rd or 4th word.
I thought that the last play would have been as cooper described, but I guess I don’t know the rules. I laughed when the announcers were saying...."these fans are going to give the refs a tough time and blame them, but if they knew how the rule was stated like we do, then they wouldn't be upset." Since when did booing the refs have anything to do with the rules?? It was if they actually believed this though that the Hamilton fans wouldn't be upset if they had the rule book in hand.
I only saw the hi-lites but it appeared that Jesse Lumsden ran the Riders into the ground. The Riders must have known it was him because that was pretty much all they saw,Lumsden's name on the back of his jersey as he was running by them...

This is off topic but I was wondering what your thoughts are on the Brett Farve soap opera? I wanna play, I don't wanna play, I wanna play and so on.
This little drama production of his is almost Tony-worthy.
In response to the Rider Prophet's question on Brett Farve. My view is this.....Brett stay the hell at home. You chose retirement your stuck with retirement. One of the all time greats yes, however for 3 years we have heard him bitch and moan about retirement and now he does it and he wants to come back after 4 months. Boo Hoo!
I like Brett and thought last season was a good way to go out.
Chicago and minny have been tossed out there but I dont see GB trading to a rival. I think he should be gone, I cna see how playing for the love of the gmae is what matters now, but he's really got nothing left to prove and him coming back to GB is just a distraction, or any team really.
Another thing is words are being thrown out there now and it could get nasty so he probably won't put on the green and gold again he'll end up being traded for a bag of footballs. Though there's a couple of shareholders that want him back and he's quoted as saying he can think of at least 25 teams who would want favre.

Brett Favre needs to go away - right now - and never come back. He's become a bigger media whore than every person on every reality TV show ever. I really wouldn't mind his comeback so much if every second of it wasn't broadcast in the media.
Being interviewed by Greta Van Susteren? Seriously? I don't know what that shovel-faced broad has to do with sports but I've had enough of 19 Brett Favre stories every day (apparently she's a friend of the family or something).
I've come to the conclusion that the only Brett Favre I want in my life from now on is the one on the cover of Madden 2009.
Anybody that weeps openly at their retirement news conference cannot come back and play the next year without a note from their mommy. It's in the rule book..........
